Spiti Serenity Expedition
Day 1: Chandigarh to Narkanda
Depart from Chandigarh early morning and drive towards Narkanda. Enjoy the scenic route passing through the pine forests and apple orchards of Shimla district. Reach Narkanda by afternoon. After check-in, spend the evening at leisure soaking in the views of snow-capped peaks. Overnight stay in Narkanda.
Day 2: Narkanda to Kalpa
After breakfast, continue your drive to Kalpa. En route, cross Rampur and enjoy mesmerizing views of the Sutlej River. Arrive in Kalpa, a beautiful village famous for its panoramic views of Kinner Kailash. Check into the hotel and relax. Overnight stay in Kalpa.
Day 3: Kalpa to Tabo via Nako
Today, proceed towards Tabo, crossing the high mountain roads of Kinnaur. Visit Nako Lake and explore the charming village of Nako. Continue to Tabo, home to one of the oldest monasteries in the Himalayas. Spend time exploring Tabo Monastery before checking into your guesthouse. Overnight stay in Tabo.
Day 4: Tabo to Kaza
After breakfast, drive towards Kaza, the heart of Spiti Valley. En route, stop at Dhankar Monastery perched dramatically on a cliff. Later, reach Kaza and check in. Evening free to stroll through the town and acclimatize. Overnight stay in Kaza.
Day 5: Kaza Local Sightseeing
Today, explore the gems of Spiti Valley. Visit Key Monastery, the largest monastery in the region, and Kibber village, one of the highest inhabited villages in the world. Later, drive to Hikkim to post a letter from the world’s highest post office, then visit Langza village, famous for fossils. Return to Kaza for an overnight stay.
Day 6: Kaza to Chandratal Lake
After breakfast, drive towards the mesmerizing Chandratal Lake. En route, cross Kunzum Pass and witness spectacular views of glaciers and peaks. Spend time by the lake, admiring its crystal-clear blue water. Overnight stay in camps near Chandratal.
Day 7: Chandratal to Manali
Today, drive towards Manali crossing Rohtang Pass (subject to road opening). Arrive in Manali by afternoon. Check into the hotel and relax after the long journey. Overnight stay in Manali.
Day 8: Departure to Chandigarh
After breakfast, start your return drive to Chandigarh. Arrive in the evening with wonderful memories of Spiti Valley.
